email-header_AnsibleFest-ATL-agenda-launch

AnsibleFest Atlanta is September 24th – 26th at the Hilton Atlanta, a few short blocks from Centennial Olympic Park. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever. As AnsibleFest continues to grow, so does its offerings. We are excited to offer more breakout sessions, more hands-on workshops, and more Ask an Expert sessions. This year we have expanded our AnsibleFest programming to offer 10 different tracks. We are also introducing the Open Lounge this year, which is a place to network, relax and recharge. It provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with passionate Ansible users, developers, and industry partners.

The AnsibleFest Agenda is live. Thank you to everyone who answered the call for submission. It was a challenge to narrow down the sessions from the record-setting  submissions we received. We love our community, customers, partners, and appreciate everyone who contributed.

For those who are not familiar with AnsibleFest, or have not attended the event before, below are a few  highlights of AnsibleFest that you won’t want to miss.

General Sessions

We have some amazing general sessions planned this year. The opening keynote at AnsibleFest will feature talks from Red Hat Ansible Automation Product Manager, Richard Henshall, and Ansible Community Architect, Robyn Bergeron. And this year, Bart Dworak from Microsoft and Chris Festa from JP Morgan Chase are going to help kickoff AnsibleFest with some spotlight talks. The Tuesday afternoon session will be a panel hosted by moderator Aidan Beeson from British Army. This panel will discuss how today’s organizations are working to build strong automation teams. Panelists will also discuss how to be collaborative with teams spread across an organization and balancing the need to innovate with delivering results.

Breakouts Sessions

This year the breakout sessions are structured into 10 different tracks. These tracks include:

Getting Started  Security Automation and Compliance
 Ansible Integrations  Infrastructure Automation
Community and Contribution  Tech Deep Dives
Culture and Collaboration  Ansible Automation in Production
 Network Automation  Business Transformation

Each track will have multiple sessions so you can customize your AnsibleFest experience to fit your own unique interests.

The Open Lounge

We are excited to introduce the Open Lounge to AnsibleFest this year. This will be a space for attendees to network, relax, and recharge. It will include our Ask An Expert area, space for activities, Command Line Heroes, partner booths, and charging stations for your devices. Make sure to take some time to relax and recharge while you are at AnsibleFest.

AnsibleFest Party

Our AnsibleFest party on Tuesday night will be taking place at Ponce City Market. Ponce City Market is the historic Sears, Roebuck & Co. building in Atlanta where you can enjoy incredible city views and activities that anyone can enjoy. It will include the Beer Garden at 9 Mile Station, mini golf, carnival games and a giant slide at Skyline Park, and a speakeasy at RFD Social. We are excited to have such a unique place to host our AnsibleFest party this year, so make sure you come join us for fun, drinks, and networking.

Workshops

Workshops are a great way to get some hands-on experience with Ansible from experts. Spots are limited and registration for these can be added to your conference registration up until they are full. If you want to attend a workshop, you will want to register as early as possible for AnsibleFest! This year, we are offering seven different workshops, including:

1. Ansible for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workshop

2. Ansible Network Automation Workshop

3. Ansible Security Automation Workshop

4. Ansible F5 Automation Workshop

5. Ansible for Windows Automation Workshop

6. Building Kubernetes Operator with Ansible Hands On Workshop
